Definitely safer then just a bag and Board. But I usually leave mine bag and boarded and then slip them into one of these, (can’t forget to buy the lids separately like I did) until I can get them graded and slabbed, it’s definitely a step up for a little more protection

These are great, love them for "special" comics that haven't been graded yet. Keeps them in A+ condition. Toploader clips are a definite must.
